Are you interested in using a bedded pack for your winter manure management? Wondering how much bedding you’ll need, what the costs will be, and how managing a pack works?

Attend one of these trainings, featuring compost specialist Brian Jerose and other partners to help you understand how to build and maintain a pack to meet your needs. The day will also include calculations for bedding, building and costs; NRCS requirements to receive funding; animal health; and a Q&A with a farmer experienced in managing a pack. If you plan to sign up for the NRCS bedded pack cost share this year, you MUST attend one of these trainings.
